MCCET's 21st Annual Auction Was A Success!

Our December auction could not have happened without a huge number of volunteers. Those who answered the phone got a real workout this year. This first simultaneous on-line and live TV auction was a challenge, but Lois Leister, Dale Leister, Don Kirkpatrick, Shirley Kirkpatrick, Cindy Lund, Jennifer Owen, Dick Jones, Denise Stenberg, CJ Jones, Spike Peterson, Cindy VanWormer, Julia Larke, and Jim Hurst kept their cool and did a terrific job. Hal Miller, yeoman angel, worked tirelessly under a very short deadline to set up the phone/computer interface for the live auction. This year's camera and production crew was bigger and better than ever. Vicky Watts and Sam Russell from KOZT "The Coast" kept things flowing as stage managers, doing a little of everything from bringing on the entertainment to ringing the gong at the end of each hour. Bob Rodriquez, floor manager, and the crew of Jane Vartanian, Kay Rudin, Kathy O'Grady, Ellen Witherite, Ric Martin, Josette Dvorak, Jesse Meuschke, and Dan Sullivan kept us looking good on camera. Some camera operators even brought in their own cameras so we'd have enough. Hostess Linda Rosengarten and auctioneers Paul Tichinin, Don Kirkpatrick, Steve Lund, Jim Hurst, Lindy Peters, Dave Turner, and Wendy and Charlie Boise kept people laughing, interested, and bidding.
